TIE ME UP
It is flats season....at least almost. I was so excited because the past few weeks have been relatively warm, a sentence I was beginning to think I would never say again. Roaming the streets in Budapest on a lazy Sunday, on our way to the spring fair, I was esthatic that I could finally go outside in flats and just a jacket. I am starting to wear sunnies again, as the warm sun burns on my face. The feeling is everything, and one I am dreaming of today on this cold day. This outfit is inspired by my love of black and leopard and yearn to stay comfortable during our Sunday stroll and sweets-fest, of which left me completely sugar high and elated. My flowy black Zara shirt beautifully complements my tight jeans. I paired the flowy shirt with a short, tight fitted leopard jacket which I found by accident at a huge sale at Express. It was the last of its size, in a big box with other disheveled shirts and tops. And the sale on it wasn't too shabby either. Needless to say, I couldn't just leave it there, a problem I have every time I go into their stores. I found these beautiful lace-up flats, a style I never thought I would be able to pull off, and maybe I can't, but they were calling my name, and looked so good, so I had to buy them. Together, the outfit is mostly back and grey, a perfect combination of loose and tight-fitted, covering all the right places. It makes me happy when my shirt blows in the breeze under the spring sun, as I sit in the middle of the spring market, watching my love drinking his hand-crafted beer, and stuffing my face with the sweet treats this city is so famous for. #dianasays
