COUNTRY CHIC

I'm not a "country" girl, but the idea of beautiful greenery as a backdrop to a romantic dress just seemed more than perfect. The weather on Sunday was exquisite as we spent the weekend at my in-laws summer house (again) on accounts of a family party they were throwing for their nephew who was visiting from the States. The day included heavy drinking, eating, and entertaining the two younger kids that were present. This involved playing soccer slightly intoxicated (oops) from one-too-many Aperole spritzers, with yours truly playing bartender for the evening. The dress didn't make it to the start of the party, after deciding that it was slightly too sexy for a summer gathering with the family. Although, this gave me some ideas on where I could wear the dress during the summer, maybe our trip to the spa, or Milan in a month...either way, the shade of blue and eccentric pattern combined with the perfect body-hugging fit really makes this dress the life of any event, or dinner, or lounge in the grass in the countryside.
