HOW TO STYLE POLKA DOTS
Today's post is super exciting because it is featuring my Mom instead of me- YAY! Granted, this took extreme convincing and months of watching my photos appear over and over on our blog and social media sites. I think her anxiety is still high, so let's all give her some love on finally taking some photos of herself that she likes and wants to post!
My mom typically dresses extremely feminine- lots of dresses, skirts, and flirty tops and always, I mean ALWAYS wears heels. So this occasion was no different. She is wearing a black and white polka dot sleeveless dress that is a little longer than tea length. The neckline is high, and she accessorized it with a black patent belt just around her waistline to add more shape to her figure. The dress is breezy, yet covers all appropriate body parts, making it perfect for an afternoon stroll at the beach, a summer wedding, or Sunday brunch. To offset the dramatic pattern, she opted for a nude strapless heel which elongates her legs and lets the eye focus on her dress. Accessories are minimal as the statement in this outfit is the dress itself.
Just as a side note, she received several compliments from passerbyers as to the gorgeous-ness of the dress, so we can say with a matter of fact the this is a perfect statement dress and you won't go wrong with wearing one similar! #dianasays
