HOW TO STYLE A MIDI SKIRT

Spring is finally here and so are the spring trends! You guys, I went a litle crazy last month and bought a few new clothing pieces- BUT to my defense they were totally necessary for me to be able to properly transition from winter to spring at the workplace. One of my most recent finds, and an item that is extremely popular right now, is the midi skirt. That's the below the knee length skirt that I am sure you see everyone wearing! To be honest, I really never thought that length would suit me, or really work well with my frame (this is due to trying on far too many that made my hips look ginormous!). By after a few tries, I finally started finding a style that actually looked good on me. Low and behold I found one I liked so much that I actually purchased it! It has a flower print pattern, which is perfect for spring, yet has black tones which means I can wear it with a black shirt and shoes. The day I wore this was a little chilly (so I thought) and I paired the skirt with a black t-shirt tucked in, and velvet knee-high boots, a black sweater, and a trench. (The backpack was used to store the Tupperware of food I was planning on bringing home from my grandmother's house after lunch). This skirt is breezy, light, and can be worn with boots or even sandals. It's the perfect transition skirt for play or work, and looks great on many body types. Let me know what you think! :)
