MY LONDON LOOK - PREPPY ENGLISH

When you think of London you imagine red, double decker buses, people running around with funny accents, and tea pots filled with earl grey at every little restaurant corner. In reality its more like tons of double decker buses rampaging through the city, people walking and driving around in accents from all over the world (every uber driver we had was not British), and instead of tea, pints of beer seemed to consume everyone's hand. But what really surprised me was the cold - and I am not just talking cold like freezing temperatures, which to be fair it was not - the wind was what was really brutal. So as usual, I was dressed in five thousand layers, including a coat with a faux fur lining, zipped up all the way and tied around my head and face.

But underneath the large coat, I actually tried to look by best English chic, and put together a stylish outfit that I thought would be appropriate for the preppy city. I wore a long-sleeved, oversized white button down dress shirt, paired with one of my favorite and most comfortable sweaters (which I bought at Costco for $20!!). I wore black jeans, white sneakers, and accessorized with a beautifully colored necklace. My hair was in a bun (the best option when you don't want to wash your hair) and of course, let's not forget my favorite sunglasses.
