As you know, I was in the States a few weeks ago visiting my family, and besides all the relaxing I planned on doing, I also brought lots of money to shop! So my mom and I were in target, and as always with a target shopping spree, I went in for one thing and came out with five things. The particular item I will be speaking about is a pastel faux velvet pointed heel that I saw, fell in love with, and convinced my mom to buy as well. They were so cute and comfortable (and on sale) so we couldn't just leave them there!!

Coincidentally, both my mom and I decided to pair our new shoes with an all white outfit. Mine was more casual, sporting a white jegging and loose 3/4 length top while she decided on a knee-length white short sleeved embroidered dress. Her look is more of a brunch/going out/summer party style while mine is more suitable for date night or a business meeting in the city.

The two styles showcase the ability for one shoe to totally change the whole composition of an outfit, or rather how different outfits can work so eloquently with the same shoe. Although not necessary to wear all white, a more monochrome outfit works best with these shoes so that they are what stand out and create the accent color for the whole look. #dianasays
